The Topics Covered in Our Training Curriculum

Knowledge of Postnatal Care

We value a strong foundation and ensure our nannies undergo extensive training in understanding the physical and emotional changes mothers undergo after childbirth. They are equipped to provide support during this period.

Newborn Care Techniques

Our nannies are trained in essential newborn care skills such as bathing, dressing, feeding, swaddling, and changing diapers. They also learn to recognise signs of common health issues in newborns and know when to seek medical assistance, ensuring a safe environment for the baby’s well-being and growth.

Safety and Hygiene

Our training covers good hygiene practices, usage of the appropriate equipment to sterilise and store baby’s things as well as ensuring proper cleaning of the mother’s wound. The aim is for our nanny to maintain a clean and safe environment for both mother and the baby as we hold safety and hygiene to the highest standards.

Breastfeeding and Bottle-feeding Support

Our nannies are equipped to support both breastfeeding and bottle-feeding methods, understanding lactation and addressing common issues like engorgement or sore nipples.

Emotional Support

Pregnancy and childbirth are joyous events, but they can also present mental health challenges for some mothers during the transition to motherhood. Our nannies receive training to recognise postnatal depression and are encouraged to speak up if they believe new mothers need professional help for their postnatal mental health.
